America’s team is about to re-sign a former Ohio State player according to information first reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter. That player is former OSU and current Dallas Cowboys safety Malik Hooker whose deal is reportedly for two years and worth $8 million.
Hooker had one whale of a season for Ohio State in 2016 that lead to him being selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the first round of the 2017 NFL draft. He struggled mightily with injuries in his career but got a fresh start in Dallas last season. He played in 16 games last season, getting a starting nod in three of those, and tallied 44 tackles and an interception during the 2021-2022 campaign.
