Last season the Cleveland Browns decided to part ways with former number-one overall pick Baker Mayfield. After he was traded to a terrible situation in Carolina, Baker finished strong with Sean McVey and the Rams. Now he is heading down to Tampa Bay on a one-year deal with the Buccaneers, worth up to eight million dollars to try and replace Tom Brady via free agency.
It is no secret that Bruce Arians has liked Mayfield since he came out of Oklahoma so this deal makes sense. Mayfield will have much better weapons than he did last season and will look to bounce back after two tough years.
