A former Ballymena United defender wants to play a leading role in Bradford City’s promotion push after joining the Bantams from Bohemians.

Mark Hughes has pounced for free agent Ciaran Kelly, who was unveiled by the League Two club on Monday, although he cannot play until January 1.

Kelly scored one goal and helped keep six clean sheets in 11 appearance for the Sky Blues during the 2020/21 season.
