Former auto mechanic BJP’s Sitapur bet

LUCKNOW: He is the namesake of the current MLA from his assembly constituency Rakesh Rathore, but unlike the Sitapur legislator, this 49-year-old is from a much humble background.

Rakesh Rathore, 49, is popular as ‘Guru’ and has spent his life repairing two-wheelers for a living till sometime back. Now, Guru is set to contest elections on a BJP ticket from Sitapur assembly constituency.
