Former Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reportedly been robbed and assaulted at his home in Barcelona.
El Pais report that at least four men climbed walls to gain access to his garden and threatened him and his wife with firearms and iron bars. They are said to have stolen jewels after demanding the footballer's safe be opened.
Aubameyang was assaulted by the men in front of his wife, the report claims, with the criminals escaping in a white Audi A3. The incident is said to have happened at 1am this morning.
Aubameyang is currently the subject of transfer speculation, with Chelsea hopeful of bringing him back to the Premier League, while Manchester United have also been linked.
