When you are carrying out construction work, it is easy for things to go amiss - especially if you are working on a large-scale project. So it is important to make detailed plans, or else risk losing something important.
Well, if you have ever made such a mishap, you might feel better to learn an English train station has reopened a set of toilets, after the block went forgotten about for 30 years.
A set of loos at Bristol Temple Meads station were somehow sealed off and then forgotten for three decades. Closed while working was being carried out in the station, the men's bathroom was last in use in the early 1990s.

It was only rediscovered by workmen in 2019, when another set of improvements were being carried out. But after some much-needed remodelling, the toilets have been opened to the public once again.
Found on platforms 10 and 12, the forgotten loos went untouched for years. But history lovers will be pleased to know they are back in good order, and they are free to use, having been restored in line with the station's Grade I listing with funding from Network Rail's Putting Passengers First programme.
Andy Philips, Network Rail’s station manager for Bristol Temple Meads, says the new facilities should ease pressure on toilet services during rush hours.
He said: “We’re pleased that passengers at Bristol Temple Meads will now be able to access these new facilities, which will alleviate pressure on the existing female toilets in the station subway, which can get busy at peak times.
“With more improvements on the way for Bristol’s iconic station in the future, we’re happy that we can offer these expanded and improved facilities for our passengers.”
