Explorers have shared eerie footage of a secret railway line that many pass by without even realising.
David O'Connor, a member of Exploring History UK, regularly visits abandoned buildings across Liverpool with other members of the group and shares his findings on YouTube.
After originally deciding to explore the old underground bunkers, the group suddenly decided to visit the abandoned railway tunnels.

The eerie footage shows the "forgotten history" of Birkenhead Town Station, which first opened in January 1889 to serve the town centre.
It originally had two tunnel portals on the site, one to Woodside and another one to Monks Ferry, which closed upon the opening of Woodside.
David told the ECHO : "We go to abandoned buildings and record the architecture. A lot of people don't see these things now.
"They may have special memories of a place and wonder what it's like now and I will go in and explore and show you.
"I just got bored and wanted a change. It's not good for your mental health sitting in all the time and us at Exploring History UK all like to get out, it's great.
"When we went out this day, we just decided to randomly explore. We weren't originally going to the railway line but I suddenly thought of it as I used to be a train spotter years ago.
"We weren't expecting to get what we got. I've never been down there and of course that continues all the way to the docks.
"Everyone knows how famous the station is and when people walk past they don't actually realise what it is. It's got a lot of history as it used to connect to all over England."
Birkenhead Town station was closed in May 1945 after a large reduction in services due to World War Two.
The current site of Birkenhead Town station still exists with its two tunnel portals. None of the platforms remain, although some of the original station building still lies hidden behind large hoardings.
The YouTube video gives viewers an incredible inside view of the ground under their feet.
David and the team found a way into the underground tunnels after battling through overgrown woodland, reclaimed by nature as only vestiges of the old Birkenhead station remain.
In the video he said the tunnels "go on for miles" and were "huge", adding what was once an area of great history, now it was "just a big dumping ground".
The team's adventure takes viewers "deep underground" showing the tunnels overgrown with nature and filled with "rubbish" including an old, rusted washing machine and a discarded bath.
