A man has died after being found seriously injured at a Lanarkshire property.
Police have made an arrest after the incident happened on Coldstream Crescent in Wishaw at around 9.25pm on Friday.
Emergency services were called to reports of a "disturbance" before a 21-year-old man was found with serious injuries. He died a short time later.
A 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday.
Forensic officers were seen combing the scene following the incident.
Cops in white boiler suits were pictured outside a property on the street carrying out enquiries.
It's understood officers reamined at the scene for some time.
A Police Scotland source confirmed the incident with Lanarkshire Live, saying: "Around 9.25pm on Friday (February 24), we received a report of a disturbance in Coldstream Crescent, Wishaw.
“Emergency services attended and a 21-year-old man was found with serious injuries.
"He died a short time later.
“A 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday, February 27.”
