Forecasts for Ivory Coast Rains Pressure Cocoa Prices

September ICE NY cocoa (CCU25) on Monday closed down -188 (-2.28%), and September ICE London cocoa #7 (CAU25) closed down -3 (-0.05%).

Cocoa prices gave up an early advance on Monday and turned lower, with NY cocoa falling to a 1.5-week low.  Forecasts for rain in the Ivory Coast later this week have sparked long liquidation in cocoa futures.
