A Ford Transit van has overturned on the M62 causing huge delays.
Cheshire Police rushed to the M62 at junction 11 (Birchwood) of the westbound carriageway at around 4.30pm on Tuesday, July 19, following reports of a crash. Once at the scene officers found a while panel van overturned on the carriageway, and called the North West Ambulance Service for assistance.
The man driving the van was treated at the scene by paramedics, bust was "up and walking" according to Cheshire Police. No other vehicles were involved in the crash and officers have put a two lane closure in place while the vehicle is recovered.

Pictures from the eastbound motorway camera show the van completely on its side with what appear to be parcels in the back. Cheshire Fire Service were also called to the scene to asses the area and make sure it was safe.
Traffic is queuing in the area, with INRIX reporting an extra 25 minutes of travel time for people using the M62.
