(Picture: Queens Park Rangers)Celebrities and football stars are coming together on Sunday to commemorate the 16th anniversary of the murder of Queens Park Rangers’ youth player Kiyan Prince.
Ex-AFC Wimbledon left-back Michael Harvey, 43, better known as a member of chart-topping garage group So Solid Crew, will pit his squad against an Arsenal Charity Team.
MC Harvey’s line-up includes former Leicester City full-back Danny Simpson, 35, ex-Manchester City defender Nedum Onuah, 35, Soccer Saturday pundit Clinton Morrison, 45, and Aston Villa and former West Ham striker Marlon Harewood, 42.
They will go up against Gunners legends Luis Boa Morte, 44, and Nigel Winterburn, 58.
Kick-off at Beaconsfield Town FC in Windsor Road is at 3pm on Sunday, May 29.
Kiyan, 15, who played for QPR’s youth team, was stabbed to death trying to break up a fight outside his north London school in 2006.
His father Dr Mark Prince OBE, 52, a former IBF and WBO intercontinental boxing champion, has dedicated his life to empowering young people through The Kiyan Prince Foundation.
Ahead of the match, MC Harvey, whose group had a number one hit with 21 Seconds, said: “We’re proud to be championing the Kiyan Prince Foundation and celebrating the talented footballer Kiyan was.
“The work Mark and his team carry out has never been more important, so to support their goals whilst – hopefully – scoring some of our own will be a spectacle not to be missed.”
Dr Prince added: “The Kiyan Prince Foundation is all about turning adversity into positive energy, so I can’t think of a better way to honour Kiyan’s legacy.

He will present the man of the match award at an evening reception for players and spectators after the final whistle.
Last May, the Fifa 21 video game used AI technology to show Kiyan as a 30-year-old professional footballer, allowing gamers to play as him.
QPR listed him as a squad member on all matchday programmes, having already renamed their ground the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium in 2019.
