New footage has surfaced of the backstage row involving Nate Diaz at the Jake Paul fight in which a security guard gets a beer thrown at him.
UFC legend Diaz, 37, was in attendance at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona to support his teammate Chris Avila, who was competing on the undercard of Paul's fight against Anderson Silva. Diaz's appearance was welcomed by the crowd as they gave him cheered whenever he appeared on the screen, but he would soon be booted out of the arena after causing trouble with Paul's team backstage.
In the new footage, Diaz's teammate Nick Maximov can be seen pointing at one of Paul's entourage before saying "you're a b****". Paul's crew member then replies: "What's up? Bro, you're right here calling me a b**** but you ain't doing nothing. I didn't even move out the way. Avila can then be seen joining in by saying "shut your b**** a**".
Paul's crew member then escalates the row by asking Maximov to fight him before security separate the two teams. Diaz's crew then turn their attention to one of the security guards, labelling him a "fat mother******". The security guard then gets a beer thrown at him by a member of Diaz's team and is visibly frustrated, daring them to "throw it again".
Diaz then walks towards the security guard with other members of security forced to break up the row, before a member of the former UFC star's team throws another beer at him. Shortly after this, security members came to find Diaz in the crowd at the arena and escorted him out of the event. Paul went on to address the backstage row in his post-fight interview after beating Silva and called out Diaz for his next fight.

“I want Nate Diaz, he's a b****,” Paul said. “He tried to come into my locker room. He tried to cause some shit and then he always leaves the f****** arena. So Nate Diaz, stop being a b**** and fight me". Paul doubled down on his call-out by stating in the post-fight press conference: "Everyone wants that fight, he tried to fight [my] people in the hallway. Nate, stop fighting people for free, let's do it in the ring."
Notorious bad-boy Diaz is no stranger to an altercation as he also got into an altercation at the public weigh-ins for Paul's last fight against former-UFC champion Tyron Woodley, with the 37-year-old also clashing with Khamzat Chimaev before competing in his final UFC fight against Tony Ferguson last month.
