Campaigners have warned donations to foodbanks are starting to dry up as the cost of living crisis bites.
Foodbanks in the city have said for the first time ever, they can’t rely on donations from the public, and some have even paid to buy supplies to support people in need.
North Liverpool Foodbank paid £3,000 for food to support struggling families, the first time they have paid for food since opening in 2012.
