The best food and drink producers in the East Midlands and beyond will be appearing at Ashfield Food and Drink Festival. Back for a third year in High Street, Hucknall, it will take place on Sunday August 20.
An estimated 4,000 food lovers are expected to attend. This year's programme includes a live cookery demonstration of vegetarian food by a healthy eating chef.
A feast of mouth-watering delights include Istanbul Grill's Turkish street food, Jamaican jerk chicken from Back-a-Yard Cuisine and authentic German bratwurst and vegan brockwurst from the Sizzling Kitchen. Providing the sweet treats are Castle-dining, who specialise in gluten free brownies, cakes and cheesecakes and the Sinfully Sweet Pastry Company with Swiss meringue buttercream cake pots, patisserie style tarts, frangipanes, macarons, and oat bars.
