Foo Fighters have announced a UK tour for 2024 adding to rumours that they could be headlining next year's Glastonbury Festival at Worthy Farm. Following their performance on the Pyramid Stage on Friday afternoon, frontman Dave Grohl's words about returning to the UK (and possibly the festival) immediately got fans excited.
"If you come back, we'll be back... See you next year" were some of the words Dave used when saying 'goodbye' to the mammoth crowd that had turned up to watch them perform, initially under the secret identity of 'The Churnups'. Though Dave pointed out that festivalgoers knew their true identity all along.
Glastonbury 2024 is likely to fall around the weekend of Wednesday, June 26 to Sunday, June 30 and reports suggest that two out of the three headliners already booked will be female. So could the Foos take the last spot? They last headlined in 2017.

Dubbed the Everything or Nothing at All UK Tour, the Foo Fighters will be playing six stadium dates in Manchester, Glasgow, London, Cardiff and Birmingham, between June 13 and June 27 - the supposed Thursday of next year's Glasto. This will leave them with all three festival headline slots free and, if you take into consideration the fact that Dave Grohl made a number of surprise appearances with the likes of The Pretenders and Guns N' Roses this year, it's likely Dave and his bandmates would love to stick around to enjoy what next year's festival has to offer.
Tickets for the Everything or Nothing at All UK Tour will go on sale to the general public from this Friday, June 30 at 9am BST. You can find more information about presales here.
Support on the tour includes Wet Leg, Courtney Barnett, Himalayas, Honeyblood, Hot Milk and Shame. Full tour dates are as follows:
- June 13, 2024 - Manchester - Emirates Old Trafford Stadium
- June 17, 2024 - Glasgow - Hampden Stadium
