Fontaines D.C. may have been victorious at the BRIT Awards but singer Carlos O'Connell almost had a rather eye-popping wardrobe error.
The singer appeared on stage as he collected the Best International Group award on behalf of the Irish rockers who are currently performing across Australia.
However, despite Carlos' sensational appearance on stage, he later revealed to The Mirror that it was almost extremely awkward and could have left him in a rather disastrous position.
Carlos explained that he was wearing a suit from Harry Styles' debut "1970s pop bohemian" collection with Gucci but had to have one thing altered.
He said: "He was involved in the making of this suit. His Gucci collection I had to get the pants a bit wider because it was very tight on the size I didn't think I could pull it off.
"But he was involved in the rest of it, I think he did a good job."
When asked whether Harry will see him in the expensive get-up, Carlos added: "I hope he likes it."
During his acceptance speech on stage, Carlos said he had not wanted to collect the award on his own while the rest of his band was in Australia.
He went on to say he "loved" his bandmates before explaining that his baby, who is just ten days old was bringing him "joy", before adding: "My heart is full… I'm happy to be (here) to celebrate that."
Harry teamed up with Gucci's creative director Alessandro Michele for the collection in what has been described as "the biggest hook-up" in the fashion industry.
The collection debuted in Milan last year before the HA HA HA collection hit stories across the world in October last year.
Speaking about the collaboration, Harry's close friend Alessandro said: "The idea of working together came to me one day while we were talking on the phone.
"I proposed creating a 'dream wardrobe' with him, starting from those small oddities that come together in childlike visions.
"We ended up with a mix of aesthetics from 1970s pop and bohemian to the revision of the image of the gentleman in an overturned memory of men's tailoring."
Alessandro added: "Harry has an incredible sense of fashion."
Harry has been an avid lover of fashion over the years, telling Vogue: "Clothes are there to have fun with and experiment with and play with, what's really exciting is that all of these lines are just kind of crumbling away."
