MUMBAI: The Maharashtra government has submitted that it followed all due process in connection with the land acquisition for the 10 acre Vikhroli plot from Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Co Ltd for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train project and no fundamental rights of the land owner were violated.
In his last appearance as state advocate general Ashutosh Kumbhakoni on Tuesday completed his submission to oppose a petition filed by the company—one of the largest private landlords in Mumbai-against the award of Rs 264 crore issued in September, the process and the law involved.
