Arsenal starlet Folarin Balogun is leaning towards an exit from the club this summer in search of regular game time going into next season. According to Sky Sports, the 21-year-old isn't keen on spending another campaign on loan, with a permanent deal offering a stable footing for the next stage of his career.
The youngster enjoyed a successful season on loan at French club Reims, where he continually found the back of the net to quickly catch the attention of many. Balogun ended the year as joint-fourth highest scorer, bagging 20-goals and only sitting behind Kylian Mbappe, Jonathan David and Alexandre Lacazette.
His impressive returns have led to plenty of links with some top European clubs, with Inter Milan, AC Milan, RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt amongst those reported with interest. With plenty of competition in the Arsenal ranks going into pre-season there's no guarantee of minutes either.

That could push a move further forward for the youngster, who has yet another opportunity to impress potential suitors in the coming weeks. That'll be when he features for the US Men's National Team (USMNT) for the first time as he was handed a debut callup to the squad for the upcoming Nations League game with Mexico.
Attention will then pivot to the Gold Cup, where the US face Jamaica and Nicaragua, with new coach B.J. Callaghan discussing the recruit: "He's someone that I spoke to about embracing the brotherhood that we have. It's a welcoming environment. The guys are going to welcome him in. They're all excited and he's excited."
It remains to be seen how Balogun performs in his time with the USMNT, though plenty of interested parties are likely to be keeping tabs as his Arsenal journey looks set to take the next step.
