Floyd Mayweather has suggested he could earn up to $100 million for his latest exhibition bout after claiming he earns between "eight and nine figures".
The boxing legend has earned vast wealth from his 50-0 professional career having sold the two highest selling pay-per-views in boxing history against Manny Pacquiao and Conor McGregor. He also earned another $65 million for his latest exhibition with Logan Paul last June and is planning to continue his short-form boxing showcases in the coming years.
Mayweather has admitted he is lucky to be able to "milk" boxing even after his professional career has ended but has hit out at critics. "I was able to leave boxing on my own terms and now the boxing critics are upset that I am still able to milk and finesse the sport of boxing by throwing exhibitions," Mayweather said during an interview with Fight Hype.
"Sixteen minutes and I am able to get eight and nine figures from the fruits of my labour. Once again I am not hurting for my money, I am far from hurting for money. I didn't retire from getting money."
Mayweather has fought in two exhibitions since his mega-money clash with McGregor having fought Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasakawa before meeting social media star Paul last June in an event which sold around one-million pay-per-views.
Now Mayweather will face former fighter Don Moore who fought 16 times as a professional without an opponent with a winning record on his resume.The event will take place in Dubai on May 14 on a helipad atop the Burj Al Arab hotel, but will no longer be with YouTube star Money Kicks after talks collapsed.

Moore has vowed to play a big part in the event and believes he has the tools to "expose" the boxing legend after training with his uncle Roger.“I am excited to participate in this event,” said Moore. “Because of how much of the same training I received from Roger Mayweather, I am gonna be able to give Floyd real problems.
