Florists are bustling as loved-up Australians prepare to splurge for Valentine's Day as the time-honoured gift remains popular, but with a next-generation twist.

More than 3.8 million people are planning to buy gifts for their special someone in 2025, splashing $70 million more than the previous year, according to a snap poll.
