Florida Teacher Arrested on Way to Prison Teaching Gig, Accused of Storing Nude Photo of Underage Student on Laptop

A Florida teacher was on his way to work teaching inmates in a prison facility when he was arrested by law enforcement for possessing nude photos of a minor, according to a report.

Before joining Lawtey Correctional Institution as a GED instructor for inmates, Gus Devereaux, 54, taught at Interlachen Junior-Senior High School. He left the school abruptly in February 2023 before he was terminated after a separate school investigation, WFLA reported.
