Florida Senator Rick Scott slammed Venezuela's authoritarian President Nicolas Maduro, saying that he will flee to China or Russia if "he's smart."
Scott, who has repeatedly criticized Maduro over the years, especially considering the large number of Venezuelans who live in Florida, told Fox News' Jesse Watters that he is "not the president" of the country. He was making reference to last year's elections, in which Maduro claimed victory despite not showing supporting documentation. "Edmundo Gonzalez won," Scott added.
