A Florida woman who searched the internet for "How to sign away parental rights?" was arrested for allegedly killing her 4-month-old baby, according to reports.

Johnisha Cole, 32, was arrested at her Lehigh Acres home on charges of aggravated manslaughter of a child and aggravated child abuse following an investigation into the child's death in September, the Fort Myers News-Press reported.

"This case is cruel, and this infant endured deadly abuse from its mother her entire life. My heart breaks for this child ...." Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno said in a Facebook posting linking to video of her arrest.

The child had a broken femur, several broken ribs, bruising and a severely bloated abdomen, the outlet reported.

The medical examiner determined the child died from abusive head trauma, ruling it a homicide.

Cole couldn't explain what caused the child's injuries, the outlet reported.

The investigation found that Cole had texted people about wanting the baby dead.

Investigators also found searches on her phone that included: "How long do you have to make a police report?" and "How to sign away parental rights?"

Cole is in custody without bail.
