Floral tributes have been left at the scene after a man was found dead in the River Mersey in Stockport.
The man, who is believed to be in his 40s, was pulled from the water by underwater search teams on Sunday November 6. He was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
Yesterday, officers confirmed that they had identified the man. Today, floral tributes and messages have appeared on a bridge near Knightsbridge in Stockport town centre.
