There are 15 flood warnings and 16 flood alerts in place across Wales after days of heavy rain and high tides. The flood warnings are mainly in coastal area around west, south and east Wales
Three have also been issued for the Usk Estuary at Caerleon, Crindau, and Malpas Road area and at Uskmouth and Old Town Docks. Two have been issued for the Wye Estuary at Chepstow and Tintern. The river at Waun Road, Loughor, in Carmarthenshire, has burst its banks and a large amount of stones that had been washed onto the road had be to removed from between Bronwydd Arms and Pontarsais near the River Gwili in Carmarthenshire.

More heavy rain is on the way for parts of Wales on Thursday, March 23. The Met Office forecast for Wales says: "Windy on Thursday with sunny intervals and scattered showers, these turning heavy and perhaps thundery at times. Blustery heavy showers continuing into the evening but become more isolated overnight."
A statement from Natural Resources Wales says: "We’re continuing to ask people living near to or visiting the south or west Wales coast to take care and be vigilant as high spring tides accompanied with strong wind could cause localised flooding... We’re advising people to stay clear of promenades, coastal paths, and sea fronts as they could be swept away by large waves or hit by debris."
The Met Office outlook for Wales into the weekend says: "A mixture of sunshine and further showers on Friday, again potentially heavy with hail and thunder. Showers could merge into longer spells of rain at times. Mild but remaining windy. Maximum temperature 13°C.."
