A flasher who exposed himself to two teenage girls has been fined and told to complete a sex offender rehab programme.
Brian Johnson, 54, of Oxford Road, Runcorn, appeared at North Cheshire Magistrates’ Court in Warrington for sentence last Tuesday. He had pleaded guilty on July 26 to one count of exposure.
Cheshire Police told the ECHO an investigation was launched after reports a man flashed two 14-year-old girls on the Bridgewater Canal towpath in Runcorn Old Town at 1.50pm on Sunday, March 6. Johnson was arrested on Greenway Road.

A magistrates’ panel ordered Johnson to complete a rehabilitation activity requirement of up to 30 days, and 34 days on the Horizon sex offender programme as part of a community order to run for two years.
He was also placed on the sex offenders register for five years and must report to Runcorn Police Station.
Johnson must pay a £120 fine and £85 in costs.
Court papers said Johnson had "intentionally exposed (his) genitals intending that someone would see them and be caused alarm or distress".
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “The charges relate to an incident at 1.50pm on Sunday, March 6 when a man is alleged to have exposed himself in front of two 14-year-old girls on the Canal footpath in Old Town, Runcorn.
“Officers attended and Johnson was located and arrested on Greenwood Road.”
