Five-year-old died after accidentally ingesting wrong milk, inquest finds

An inquest jury has concluded that a five-year-old boy who tragically died after an allergic reaction at school was accidentally exposed to cow's milk protein, most likely from his own bottle.

Benedict Blythe, a reception pupil at Barnack Primary School in Stamford, Lincolnshire, suffered food-induced anaphylaxis and died in hospital on 1 December 2021.
