The 2024 CMT Music Awards are gearing up for an exciting telecast with a five-way tie for the most nominations. Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Cody Johnson, Megan Moroney, and the show's host, Kelsea Ballerini, have each received three nods going into the event. The awards ceremony is set to take place at Austin's Moody Center on April 7.
One of the highlights of the CMT Awards is the video of the year category, which features a competitive lineup of 16 candidates. The initial round of voting will narrow down the nominees to six on April 1, and eventually to three top contenders on the show day through further voting.
