The Eagles have one of the top wide receiver duos in the NFL, but the depth behind A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith leaves a lot to be desired.
Quez Watkins is a solid No. 3 wideout, but if the season started today, either Britain Covey, Tyrie Cleveland, Greg Ward, or Devon Allen would be the fourth option on the outside.
Philadelphia could address the position in the NFL draft, while a talented veteran looking to play for a winning organization could be the recipe as well.
With the NFL draft a month away, here are five veteran wide receivers that can still help the Eagles in 2023.
Jarvis Landry
Landry had 25 catches for 272 yards, one touchdown in only nine games for New Orleans last season, and missed some time with Cleveland the previous year.
A sure-handed veteran, Landry could put up solid numbers as the Eagles’ fourth option in 2023.
Julio Jones
Jones, 34, is entering the final stages of his career but would be a valued addition to the locker room and is an upgrade over the current fourth or fifth options.
Jones had 24 catches for 299 yards and two touchdowns, and he’s amassed just 55 catches for 733 yards and three touchdowns over the past two seasons.
Olamide Zaccheaus
A little on the small end at only 5-foot-8, Zaccheaus could assume multiple roles for Philadelphia after a career-high 40 receptions, 533 yards, and three touchdowns last season for Atlanta.
Jalen Guyton
The Chargers didn’t extend Guyton (knee) a qualifying offer or contract tender as a restricted free agent after he struggled in 2022 before suffering a season knee injury.
Drafted by the Chargers in 2019, Guyton started 11 games over the 2020 and 2021 seasons, making 59 catches for 959 yards and six touchdowns.
N'Keal Harry
Harry ended the season with seven receptions, 116 yards, and a touchdown over seven games played for Chicago.
The former Arizona State star battled injuries in 2022 but would be an upgrade over the current fourth or fifth options.
