Five spots in the UK have been rated among the world's 51 coolest neighbourhoods.
Cliftonville in Margate, Shawlands in Glasgow, Walthamstow in London, the Northern Quarter in Manchester and Kelham Island in Sheffield all managed to snag a place on the list.
The survey was compiled and released by Time Out after speaking with experts and conducting polls.
The areas boast unique shops, restaurants, creative spaces and community centres, just a few of the much-loved necessities that keep neighbourhoods booming, and ideal places to live.
Below is a list of the coolest neighbourhoods to live in the UK right now.
Cliftonville, Margate
Margate is a beautiful town on England’s South East coast. Home to the UK's most artistic communities, Margate is filled with creative ex-Londeners who have moved there for affordable homes and spaces.
The town is filled with history and museums, alongside a regenerated Old Town and hipster hangouts along with cute cafes and retro shops. There are tudor homes and unique theatres too.
The holiday hotspot came in 8th position on the list of coolest neighbourhoods in the world, followed by Santiago, Chile.
Shawlands, Glasgow
Glasgow is the most popular city in Scotland and the 27th largest city by population in Europe. It is hugely popular for its beautiful views and landscapes, as well as its parks, art, coffee and dining spaces.
Shawlands is the bustling point of Glasgow, buzzing with independent businesses and stores.
The city centre - not too far from the town - is filled with historic buildings, stunning homes and Victorian architecture, as well as amazing shopping spaces and a fun nightlife.
The beautiful town came 11th on the list of coolest neighbourhoods in the world, followed by Toronto, Canada.
Walthamstow, London
Lively Walthamstow is known for its galleries and arts and crafts. The place is filled with young families and children with lots to do on family days out. There are also workshops and a Yonder space, where yoga meets wall climbing.
The area also boasts a stadium - the Wadham Lodge is home to a non-league football team Walthamstow FC. The stadium draws a fun and vibrant audience with pitch side craft beer being an attractive proposition.
The town also has a comedy venue, Soho Theatre Walthamstow, with world class entertainment.
Walthamstow came 17th on the list, followed by Barcelona, Spain.
Northern Quarter, Manchester
The Northern Quarter is filled with Georgian houses, pubs and modern places to hangout. It’s also accommodating to vegan dining and lifestyles, with vegan cafes and restaurants.
The town is youthful, diverse and energetic, and has become one of the most exciting spots to visit in the UK. Meanwhile, Manchester city centre is packed with bars and shops and a great place to stay.
And the surrounding areas are filled with market towns, parks and lots of beautiful areas for peaceful walks and bike rides.
The city came in 30th position on the list of coolest neighbourhoods in the world, followed by Prague, Czech Republic.
Kelham Island, Sheffield
Sheffield is a town north of England that is bursting with energy and ideas. The area is filled with opportunities for events and outdoor adventures, as well as being filled with culture and art.
There are plenty of spaces that are now filled with independent bars, restaurants and cafes. The neighbourhood is walkable from the city centre, and is known for its street markets and food - plus lots of vegan spots.
An hour drive from the town lies the Peak District national park, known for its beautiful scenic views, there are also more than 250 parks, woodlands and gardens in the city.
The city came 35th on the list, followed by San Francisco, USA.
