The January transfer window is often full of so many surprises, that many of them hit you several years after they happened.
One of those is former Arsenal and current Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey, who is currently expected to depart the Serie A giants before the window slams shut.
Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri all but confirmed his pending exit, stating he is an “outgoing player” when asked about the Welshman's future.
However, this news has surprisingly passed over the heads of the footballing world, who have perhaps been focussed on the transfer ordeals of players such as Dusan Vlahovic and Ousmane Dembele.
And with Ramsey set for potential moves to the likes of Wolves, Crystal Palace, and many more, Mirror Football considers five transfer you forgot happened in January.
Luis Suarez to Liverpool

Nobody will ever forget Luis Suarez’s three exceptional seasons at Liverpool, but many may be wracking their minds as to the day he officially arrived from Ajax.
And the reason why they may not be able to recall his Anfield arrival, is because Liverpool sold Fernando Torres to Chelsea for £50million, and subsequently replaced him with Andy Carroll for £35m.
Suarez’s arrival coincided with the two astronomical signings which stunned the footballing universe in-to silence.
While the Uruguayan’s arrival almost flew under the radar, Suarez took the Premier League by storm with an astonishing 69 goals and 51 assists in 110 appearances for the Reds.
Meanwhile, Carroll and Torres both struggled to live up to their huge price tags, and were soon overshadowed by Suarez’s brilliance.
Benjani Mwaruwari to Manchester City
Premier League fans are most likely more than aware of Harry Radknapp’s infamous story where he allegedly walked former Portsmouth ace Benjani Mwaruwari onto the plane to go to Manchester City – a story Benjani denies.
However, the alleged myth of the Zimbabwe striker refusing to get on to a plane to Manchester is perhaps more well known than the fact he joined during the January transfer window.
At the time, Benjani had already scored 12 Premier League goals by the time the Citizens had expressed an interest in the striker’s services.
Despite the fact Benjani claims he learned of City’s interest around 14 hours before the transfer window, City wrapped up a £7.2m transfer for the striker before the market slammed shut.

Julian Faubert to Real Madrid
Time seemed to stand still when Julian Faubert’s joined at Real Madrid, such was the shock and utter confusion.
The Spanish giants signed the then West Ham United midfielder on loan in the 2009 January transfer deadline day.
At the time, Faubert was struggling to even break into the first team at West Ham, despite the fact they were locked in a relegation battle.
He only went on to make two appearances for Real Madrid, who very unsurprisingly did not take up the option to sign him permanently.
Chris Samba to QPR
When Harry Redknapp took over the reins at Queens Park Rangers, he bemoaned the club’s enormous salary bill and insisted that it gets sorted – then he signed Christopher Samba.
"There are a lot of players at this club who earn far too much money," he said. "You shouldn't be paying massive wages when you've got a stadium that holds 18,000 people."
Unfortunately, Samba arrived at Loftus Road from Russian giants Anzhi and was welcomed with a staggering £100,000 per week salary.
Sadly for QPR, Samba did not justify his £12.5m transfer fee or his monstrous salary, and the London side were relegated at the end of the season.
David Luiz to Chelsea - 2011
David Luiz is another star who was seemingly brought in through the back door, as Torres’ arrival captured all of the headlines.
The Brazilian defender was signed from Benfica in a £21.3m deal which also saw Nemanja Matic - yes he was at Chelsea in 2011 – move in the other direction.
Despite his enormous curly afro, Luiz’s arrival was buried beneath the same pile of deadline day transfer carnage as Suarez’s arrival at Liverpool.
Luiz and Torres’ debut did not go to plan, as the Reds overcame the Blues 1-0 at Stamford Bridge.
However, the Brazilian did remind the Chelsea fans who he was by scoring the winning goal in a 2-1 home victory against Manchester United.
The Brazilian defender went on to win the Champions League, the Premier League, two FA Cups, and two Europa League titles across two spells at Stamford Bridge.
