Christmas lights
Liverpool is well and truly getting into the festive spirit as the Christmas markets returned over the weekend. Liverpool ONE unveiled its new tree last week during a spectacular launch night party.
The tree is located at the centre of the new Liverpool Alpine Village and stands at 18 metres above sea level - making it one of the tallest artificial trees in the UK. The rest of the city's lights will be switched on in stages but on November 24, the traditional Christmas tree on Church street will be lit. However, important to note there is no official switch on event.
