St George's Hall Beer Festival
What's not to like about drinking some of the finest real ales the country has to offer while sitting inside one of Liverpool's most iconic buildings? The festival will feature 200 real ales including IPAs, pale ales, stouts, craft lagers, and traditional ciders.
If the beer does not entice you then the festival also has street food, games, and music, so you can just sit back and soak up the atmosphere. The event runs from Friday, September 30 to Saturday, October 1.
Spirit of Discovery cruise ship coming to Liverpool
The 774.3ft cruise ship was built in 2019 and will be coming into Liverpool on Saturday, October 1 and for maritime lovers, this is a must. She is Saga Cruise's largest ship to ever operate and can hold nearly 1,000 passengers.
The added bonus is that it is also free and can make a great day out for the whole family. The area around the port is surrounded by some of Liverpool's most famous buildings and it is a great way to soak up some of the city's rich seafaring history.
The Wirral Arts festival
Running from October 1 to October 15 the festival takes place at venues across Wirral providing live performances from professionals and amateurs. With photographic exhibitions and live music, there is something for everybody to enjoy.
The Beatles Cruise Tribute
A uniquely Liverpool experience that can be enjoyed by music lovers and Beatles fans alike. Setting sail round the Mersey on October 1 passengers will enjoy a performance by local Beatles cover band The Paperback Writers.
With the backdrop of Liverpool's stunning waterfront, it will give you a chance to see the city at night, while singing along to some of the Fab Four's most famous songs.
The Four Tops and The Temptations
October 2 will see Motown legends The Four Tops and The Temptations take to the M&S Bank Arena stage. Still going strong after more than forty years in the business you will be treated to hits such as Pappa was a Rolling Stone and I Can't Help Myself.
From the arena, it is a short walk down to Liverpool's famous Albert Dock for a night out on the town.
