The Georgia Bulldogs have officially made the final four for the nation’s top offensive tackle recruit. David Sanders Jr. announced late Sunday night via X that the Bulldogs were one of the top four schools remaining in his recruitment, alongside Ohio State, Tennessee, and Nebraska. Sanders also announced that he will make his commitment on August 17th.
Sanders is listed at 6-foot-6, 190 pounds, and is the second highest rated overall recruit in the nation according to 247Sports. He currently plays at Providence Day School in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he was named Gatorade Player of the Year in 2023. His team won a state title. In addition to starting at tackle, he also contributed at EDGE rusher, recording 24 tackles and four sacks.

There is currently no clear favorite to land Sanders. He most recently visited Athens on June 7 and has since been to both Columbus and Knoxville. Should he choose the Bulldogs, Sanders would be the fourth five-star to commit to the Dawgs in this cycle and their highest rated recruit overall. Georgia currently does not have a tackle commitment but does have two interior offensive linemen in the class of 2025 in four-stars Dontrell Glover and Mason Short.
