Five of 37 prisoners incorrectly freed under government’s early release scheme still not back in jail

Five of the 37 prisoners who were revealed to have been incorrectly freed under the government’s early release scheme are still not back in jail.

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) admitted on Thursday that they and the police are still trying to return the five offenders to custody after they were wrongly released.
