Leeds United know their survival fate remains out of their hands with just two matches remaining in their season. Sam Allardyce's side ended a six-match losing run with a 2-2 draw against Newcastle United on Saturday lunchtime.
Luke Ayling gave the hosts the perfect start, but the contest turned shortly after Patrick Bamford saw a first-half penalty saved by Nick Pope. Callum Wilson equalised moments later from the spot, before firing the visitors ahead after a VAR review led to Junior Firpo being penalised for a handball inside the box.
The Whites salvaged a point through a late deflected strike from Rasmus Kristensen, but still find themselves adrift of safety with just two matches remaining. Here, we take a look at the remaining fixtures in the battle to avoid joining already relegated Southampton in the Championship, with five key dates ahead.

May 15: Leicester City vs Liverpool (8pm)
The Foxes are in a similar boat to Leeds in the sense of needing to pick up results while hoping their rivals can not match their results in what is left of the season. However, Dean Smith's side face an in-form Liverpool side desperate to keep their unlikely top-four tilt alive.
May 20: Wolves vs Everton (3pm), Nottingham Forest vs Arsenal (5.30pm)
Everton and Forest are the two sides currently being chased down, with the latter picking up a vital point at Chelsea in their last outing. The Toffees face a trip to mid-table Wolves who have long since confirmed their own top-flight status, while Steve Cooper's side host title challengers Arsenal in their last home match of the season.
May 21: West Ham vs Leeds United (1.30pm)
It could be an advantage or a disadvantage, but the Whites will know the results of those directly above them when they kick-off in the capital. West Ham have all but secured their own place in the Premier League, and their focus could lie elsewhere with a Europa Conference League semi-final second leg at AZ Alkmaar just three days' prior.
May 22: Newcastle United vs Leicester City (8pm)
Eddie Howe's side still hold their top-four destiny in their own hands despite the draw at Elland Road and Liverpool's advances. Leicester is the second of two vital home fixtures in quick succession which could guarantee the Magpies' top-four spot, with Newcastle already beating the Foxes twice this term.
May 28: Crystal Palace vs Nottingham Forest, Everton vs Bournemouth, Leeds United vs Tottenham, Leicester City vs West Ham (all 4.30pm)
It is still far too early to evaluate all of the permutations which could still be in play come the final day of the season. No matter what though, Leeds will almost certainly require a home victory while nervously checking results elsewhere.
