Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service saved five children and an adult from a flat fire in Nottingham late last night (Tuesday, February 14). The incident took place on Church Street in Old Basford.
After the crews in attendance put out the concerning fire, the six people trapped inside were led to safety. The ambulance service was also in attendance.
The fire service tweeted regarding the incident earlier this morning (February 15). The caption reads: "23:23 #StockhillStn20 #ArnolfStn26 #HighfieldsStn29 attended an incident on Church St #OldBasford involving a flat fire.

Crews extinguished the fire using 4 BA & 2 hose reel jets, and lead 1 adult & 5 children to safety. @EMASNHSTrust were also in attendance.
