First Year Junior College: Round 2 of admissions begins today in Maharashtra

MUMBAI: FYJC round 2 admissions begin on Sunday with registered and new students allowed to change and choose preferred colleges.

Admissions for round 1 ended on Saturday and over 48% of the 1.39 lakh students who were allotted seats enrolled in colleges. Of the 61,623 students who got their first preference colleges, around 80% took admissions.

The remaining students will have to stay out of round 2 and return in round 3. Other students (who got preference 2 to 10) who have not taken admissions can participate in round 2. New students can also register on 11thadmission.org.in. Registered students can again change their preference of colleges.

Filling of forms for the second round is on till 10pm on August 9 (portal is open even if it is a holiday).

The second merit list will be out on August 12 and students have time till August 17 (6pm) to take admissions.
