‘First time I’ve felt bad for Barack’: Michelle Obama labelled ‘selfish’ as she confesses her priority in life

The former first lady Michelle Obama recently shared her vision for the next chapter of her life, and her answer has sparked quite a reaction online. During a candid moment in an interview with ABC News for the special titled The Obama Legacy: First Joint Interview Post-White House, the former first lady was asked to describe her upcoming chapter in just one word. She did not hesitate, simply stating, “Me.”

According to the New York Post, the former president, Barack Obama, responded to the same question with the response: “fun.” The outlet noted that both of their responses were a departure from the high-pressure, public-facing life they led during their time in the White House. However, it was Michelle’s brief response and prioritization for the future that prompted a wave of criticism from conservative voices on social media, with the reaction on X being notably harsh.
