A growing international law firm has become the first company to sign up for space at one of the North East’s most high profile developments.
DAC Beachcroft (DACB) has agreed a lease for 15,000sqft of space at Bank House, the first of three new office buildings that will make up Pilgrim Place in Newcastle city centre. As the very first tenant at the prominent office on Pilgrim Street – set to be completed in seven months – DACB has agreed a 15-year lease which covers the first floor and half of the second floor of Bank House, which has 120,000 sq ft of office accommodation.
Bank House is a 14-storey office on the site of the former Bank of England premises, with a ground floor set to feature a 4,500 sq ft reception, a cafe, and informal breakout areas. Office floor plates provide 10,000 sq ft of open plan, column free space. The upper floors’ 360 degree views across the Tyne and Quayside area are now attracting interest from firms looking to set up in the North East.
