An elderly man who tragically died after being hit by a car in Clydebank has been pictured for the first time.
James Malloy was struck by a vehicle on Chalmers Street at roughly 11.45am on Saturday, 15 April.
The 82-year-old was blue-lighted to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.
A police investigation into the crash is ongoing, with anyone who witnessed the incident urged come forward. Sergeant Archie McGuire said: “Our thoughts remain with James’ family and friends at this difficult time.
“Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may have information or dashcam footage who has not yet spoken to us to come forward.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 1375 of 15 April, 2023.”
