First picture of man who died after being struck by bus in Glasgow city centre

John Robertson Glasgow Argyle Street

A man who died after being struck by a bus in Glasgow city centre has been named.

Tragic John Robertson, 39, lived in Glasgow but was originally from the Isle of Skye. Officers from Police Scotland say that the incident happened on Argyle Street, near to Gray Street, on Monday, June 5, at around 12:05am. No one on the bus was injured.

Police launched a probe following the death of Robertson and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
