First picture of man stabbed to death in Crouch End knife attack

Metropolitan Police have named a young man who was stabbed to death in Crouch End, north London last week as detectives renew appeals for information.

Jonah Ho-Shue, 24, was found by officers suffering from a knife wound on Albert Road, Stroud Green, between Crouch End and Finsbury Park around 10.43pm on Thursday January 4.

Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance battled to save him but he died at the scene.

The family of Jonah Ho-Shue have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers, the Met said on Monday.

A special post-mortem examination held on Saturday gave cause of death as a stab wound.

Homicide detectives from the Met's Specialist Crime Command are leading the investigation.

Forensics officers have scoured the crime scene for clues while experts have been trawling through CCTV and doorbell footage from the area.

Door to door inquires have also been carried out as part of the murder inquiry.

Detective Chief Inspector Mark Rogers, said: "My team’s working around the clock alongside local officers to identify who is responsible for taking Jonah’s life in such a violent way. His family need answers and I’m urging anyone who can help to come forward and speak with us.

"Did you see or hear anything suspicious in the area of Albert Road last Thursday?

"Have you captured anything on your doorbell or dash cam? Please do the right thing and contact police."
