First picture from Titanic submarine search site emerges as rescue ship arrives

The first picture has emerged from the missing Titanic submarine search site as the frantic mercy mission continues. Rescue ship Deep Energy has arrived in the middle of the Atlantic after a "banging" noise was heard from the Titan vessel on Tuesday, according to the US Coast Guard.

Remote operated submarines will be deployed as the oxygen level runs down to the last 24 hours inside the missing vessel, the Mirror reports. Rear Admiral John Mauger says the source of the banging noise is now the “focus” of the mission - even though it is still unclear whether it came from the submersible.

He revealed they "don't know the source of that noise" but have reported the data with the US Navy after the Canadian P-3 aircraft picked up the sound. Deep Energy, along with eight other vessels, are on their way to the site which is 900 miles east of Cape Cod, Massachusetts and around 370 miles off Newfoundland, Canada.
