The first trailer for the upcoming Mortal Kombat 2 movie is out, starring Karl Urban as an aging Johnny Cage fighting as much with otherworldly beings as his dwindling fame. The new R-rated Mortal Kombat 2 movie, slated to release on Oct. 24, got its first trailer, showcasing the huge cast of recognizable faces and places, alongside a ton of references to the games. Karl Urban takes the center stage, playing the protagonist Johnny Cage, an aged actor selected to duke it out with strange creatures in the Mortal Kombat tournament. Raiden, Baraka, Shao Khan, Kitana, Jax, Scorpion and countless others (re)appear in the sequel.
