First look inside new Georgian Quarter homes

The ECHO has taken a first look inside the new homes being built on the doorstep of Liverpool's most historic neighbourhood.

A plot of disused land on Hampton Street in Toxteth has been earmarked for the £1.4m project by family-run building firm Frank Rogers.

The scheme is known as Hampton Place and will comprise four high-specification homes next door to the Georgian Quarter once complete. The properties have recently been listed for sale on Zoopla.

The modern homes boast four bedrooms and four bathrooms over three storeys, as well as a driveway and garden. Their footprint spans almost 1,400 sq ft.

CGIs of the interior show a modern, open plan space with en-suite bedrooms on the upper floors. There is also a small attic space.

Properties in Toxteth overall had an average price of £151,183 over the last 12 months. The homes on Hampton Place are currently being marketed for £350,000 by North Property Group.

The Zoopla listing said the scheme is a "small collection of modern, welcoming family homes" which offer "a rare, peaceful community neighbouring the well sought after city centre".

The plans for Hampton Street were revealed by Frank Rogers in November 2022. The homes are expected to be completed before the end of 2023.

Speaking at the time, managing director Dean Rogers said: "The city is currently being transformed through a number of major development projects, such as the likes of Liverpool Waters , and with a rapidly increasing population and the highest rental yields in the UK in recent years, Liverpool is an extremely appealing choice for private investors."

Frank Rogers is behind a number of projects in Liverpool, including Rialto House, which sits at the junction of Parliament Street and Princes Road. The ten-month project cost £1.5m and turned a former office block into nine apartments.
