A brand new café, named The Pantry, is opening its doors in Oakwood very soon.
Said to be a "little haven", the spot will serve "delicious" lunch, hot drinks, and baked goods. What's more it is set to be full of local suppliers, fresh vegetables, and "cool things" for people to purchase.
The idea came from family-run catering company Blue Pepper Catering who wanted to create a space for people to get local produce, as well as grabbing a bit to eat and socialising. The Pantry is opening in Roundhay Road in Oakwood.

The company said: "Hello Oakwood. A little snapshot of our newest addition. A little haven full of local suppliers, fresh veg and cool things.
"Plus delicious lunch to grab and go or sit with us if you have time." While there is no official opening day, owners teased that the new spot is "coming soon".
It is opening where former café Oscada used to be, but closed its doors earlier this year. As well as inside seating there is an outside seating area for warmer days.
It is the latest new addition heading to Oakwood's buzzing independent business scene, after new shisha lounge Mr Moustache opened last month. Residents have already shared their excitement for the new spot.
"Amazing! Can't wait to visit", popular flowers shop Pampas and Bloom said. Another resident said: "This is great news. I'll be in soon."
"So excited for this! Just what Oakwood needs," another added. One excited customer described the new spot as "beaut".
