Fans were treated to some first look shots at ITV's brand new drama Our House, starring Line of Duty's Martin Compston.
The drama is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Louise Candlish, and the thriller promises to have viewers on the edge of their seat.
Greenock born Compston plays Bram Lawson in the series alongside Downton Abbey's Tuppence Middleton who plays Fiona Lawson, his estranged wife.
Alongside Compston, 37, and Middleton, 34, the stellar cast includes Whitechapel's Rupert Penry-Jones as Toby, I May Destroy You's Weruche Opia as Merle and Honour's Buket Komur as Wendy.
The story follows Fi as she arrives home to find finds strangers moving into her house, and no sign of any of her or her family's belongings.
Believing there has been a huge mistake, Fi continues to panic even more so when she can't get a hold of her husband Bram to get to the bottom of things.
As she reflects upon the safe space in which she and her family had made a life together, Fi begins to peel back the layers of her relationship and discovers her husband has disappeared.
Fi begins to uncover more and more lies, as she realises things are not as they seem.
The Line of Duty actor shared some photos from the show to his Twitter account, and fans are buzzing to see Compton in another series.
One fan wrote: "I have this book at home not sure if will read it before or after its on tv. Your such an amazing actor Martin, look forward to seeing you in this totally different drama"
"Brilliant, plenty of your work to look forward to this year," another buzzed.
A third penned: "This looks really good. The book was brilliant too. Looking forward to this."
But some fans only had one question on their mind after watching Martin's character get prematurely killed off in BBC drama Vigil.
One fan had a pressing question: "can u confirm ur in it longer than 8 mins??"
Another asked: "Please tell me you don’t get killed off in the first episode?"
A third chimed in: "Hopefully he doesn’t get killed off it. I need to prepare myself like I wasn’t with Vigil"
A fourth quipped: "Hope you don't die after 5 seconds this time!!! ...Looks interesting!"
"The scripts are genuinely thrilling, packed with twists and turns that kept me guessing until the end," Compston teased, in a statement that was released alongside the casting news way back in July 2021.
The four part drama is adapted by Simon Ashdown from the international best-selling novel and produced by Red Planet Pictures.
Our House is coming soon to ITV and ITV Hub.
