It is a truth universally acknowledged that Bridgerton fans have waited long enough for its second season - and now it's almost around the corner!
Netflix has stirred up even more excitement for the modern period drama's next season by releasing a sneak peak at the action-packed drama and swoon-worthy romance that fans can look forward to.
New photos show the season's leading stars - fiery Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley) and rake Lord Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) - getting close on the dance floor.
The second season will follow Lord Anthony on his search to find a suitable wife and sets his eye on Edwina - which her sister Kate is not happy about.
She then proceeds to do what she can to stop the union - which will then surely result in the inevitable...
In other photos, Kate is seen brandishing a gun in the woods as she goes shooting with Lord Anthony and other male suitors.
Kate's sister Edwina is also shown in the photos, looking very doe-eyed and dreamy as she sits next to her sharp-eyed sister.
Lord Anthony's sister Daphne - played by Phoebe Dynevor - will also be returning after marrying the Duke of Hastings, who won't be making an appearance after actor Rege Jean-Page quit the role.
The pair are seen conversing - likely regarding Lord Anthony's need to find a wife to uphold the family name.
Regal Queen Charlotte will also be back, draped in an elaborate sky blue embroidered gown and engrossed in another Lady Whistledown publication.
Speaking of whom, Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) appears determined to keep her identity as Lady Whistledown a secret from her best friend Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie), with the pair appearing to have a deep heart-to-heart in the teaser.
Another photo shows Penelope joined by her sisters and mother Lady Portia (Polly Walker) making their way down an elaborate staircase in matching gold dresses and tiaras.
Netflix has confirmed that the new season will premiere on March 25.
We can't wait!
