Growing hospitality firm The Doxford Group has given guests a first look at its new Alice in Wonderland-inspired hotel, bar and restaurant set to open in Northumberland.
The group is currently constructing The Tempus, a boutique venue set to open next year within the ground of its 150-acre country estate near Alnwick. Bosses have issued images of the site, which is set to be a sister venue to quirky Charlton Hall, with the decor taking its inspiration from Lewis Carroll’s famous story.
Once complete, The Tempus will have 15 guest bedrooms including a boutique suite and two junior suites on the second floor, as well as king, superior king and family rooms. The company has worked with Jeffreys Interiors to create the Alice in Wonderland look and feel within the property, which will also include a ground-floor bar, restaurant and orangery offering bistro-style dining and cocktails.
